Steps to reproduce:

Open composition window
start typing a recipient
hit enter or tab


Actual results:

the exact letters typed are shown, autocomplete fails

it's necessary to go back to the line and wait for autocomplete to complete successfully


Expected results:

the autocomplete should have inserted the appropriate entries from the address book, as it used to.
