Steps to reproduce:

Repro frequency: 100%
1. Connect to a Wifi network.
2. Tap the Rocket bar on the homescreen.
3. Typing URL into the 'Search or enter address' fields.
4. Tap the "．．．" in the top right side of the screen.
5. Tap 'Add to home screen' option.

Looks the fixed by bug 1053758, have an follow-up patch version after your gaia build 6eb0f8fee8d14c0868ad9d4b030dcf8bf90f0141.

I had the same issue. It seems to be fixed in build 20140906010736
Now I can add a website to the homescreen (the UI has changed a bit)

I think it should be Fixed, because it had a fault, and has been fixed by a checked.

If bug status is not changed from Unconfirmed to NEW or Resolved, normal users have no permission to select Fixed option.
