Environment:
Device: Sony Xperia Z2(Android 4.4.2)
Build: Firefox 27 Release
Steps to reproduce:
Enable "Request Desktop Site" if testing on phone
1. Go to cnn.com
2. Tap to activate plugins
3. Continue browsing
Expected result:
User can continue browsing without any issues
Actual result:
Firefox freezes and eventually becomes unresponsive.
There is no way to use Firefox until you restart the app.
Note: This has been around since Firefox 27 since Flash was enabled on Android 4.4 (see bug 935676). The issue does not reproduce on sites with mobile UI's, and did not able to reproduce on youtube.

Also reproducible on Samsung Galaxy S5(Android 4.4.2). From what I see bug 1025090 it's a completely different thing.

Flash is going away (bug 1381916), so there's no point in pursuing this further.
