When downloading a file a new private window through an E10s window, the animation for the download picker and download progress do not work at all. This is not the case when not in private browsing.

Should be verifiable by observing the download picker animation and the download progress in a private E10s window, after this is fixed.

I wasn't able to reproduce this on OSX or Windows 8. Are you still observing this bug?

If so, could you try to reproduce with any addons disabled?
