(Whiteboard: [TOOL][DYNAPI])
seat.es (a somewhat big spanish car company) redirects you to the typical:
"sorry but we don't know what f* browser are you using" with Mozilla in Linux.
Let's Evangelize them.
heh, it blocks Netscape 6.x too, and konqueror, and...
you get the picture
bad sniffing because of old DynAPI, adding dependecy.

Here is the bad sniffing code :
var isNS = navigator.appName.indexOf("Netscape") >=0;
var isIE = navigator.appName.indexOf("Explorer") >=0;
function filtro(){
if (isIE) var vers =
parseInt(navigator.appVersion.substring(navigator.appVersion.lastIndexOf('MSIE')+5));
//Explorer para Mac
if (navigator.appVersion.indexOf("Mac") != -1 && !isNS) {
location.href = 'sorry.html';
}
//Netscape >4.0 and >4.5 or 6
else if (((navigator.appVersion.substring(0,3)<4.5 &&
parseInt(navigator.appVersion)>=4) || parseInt(navigator.appVersion)==5) && isNS) {
location.href='sorry.html';
}
//Navegadores 3
else if (parseInt(navigator.appVersion)<4){
location.href='sorry.html';
}
//Explorer 6
else if (isIE && vers>=6){
location.href='welcome.html';
}
//open web
else {
location.href='welcome.html';
}
}
