Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/37.0.2062.120 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

I click accept on a meeting request. Calender is remote caldav/horde/kronolith backend.

Actual results:

My calender is updated but their is no mail being send to the organizer of the meeting stating that I accept the meeting.

Expected results:

Should give me a pop-up asking if I want to send an invitation reply to the organizer of the meeting. If I save the meeting in a local calendar I receive such a popup.

TB version is 24.8.0. I tried with TB 31.1.1 and Lightning 3.3.1, same problem.
I just found out that when I create a meeting request and I add attendees, they don't receive the invite from TB but from the caldav/horde/kronolith server. So maybe it is by design?
This is bug 945653. The decision whether client or server are respsonsible for sending invitation is taken by the server. In your setup a serverside sending seems to be configured.
