Please redirect the following urls to https://openstandard.mozilla.org/ * openstandard.tv * openstandard.org * theopenstandard.org * theopenstandard.net These should all be owned by moz.
Whiteboard: [kanban:https://kanbanize.com/ctrl_board/4/1340]
openstandard.org still does not appear to be owned by mozilla. according to `whois` this domain is registered to: Registrant Organization: DNStination Inc.

Chris: I will cc you on my note to mark monitor about this.

Chris please redirect all but the one not owned by us. If that one comes in I will open a new bug.

theopenstandard.org and theopenstandard.net are now complete. i will need a little longer with openstandard.tv because it looks like our dns automation system doesn't currently support .tv domains. finally, we're in a holding patter on openstandard.org since we currently do not own this domain. $ curl -I theopenstandard.org HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently Server: Apache X-Backend-Server: pp-web01 Vary: Accept-Encoding Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Date: Fri, 26 Sep 2014 20:04:32 GMT Location: https://openstandard.mozilla.org/ Transfer-Encoding: chunked Connection: Keep-Alive X-Cache-Info: caching $ curl -I theopenstandard.net HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently Server: Apache X-Backend-Server: pp-web04 Vary: Accept-Encoding Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Date: Fri, 26 Sep 2014 20:04:35 GMT Location: https://openstandard.mozilla.org/ Transfer-Encoding: chunked Connection: Keep-Alive X-Cache-Info: caching
(In reply to Chris Turra [:cturra] from comment #5) > > i will need a little longer with openstandard.tv because it looks like our > dns automation system doesn't currently support .tv domains. looks like this was not the case - it was in fact user error! i blame friday. $ curl -I openstandard.tv HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently Server: Apache X-Backend-Server: pp-web02 Vary: Accept-Encoding Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Date: Fri, 26 Sep 2014 21:10:32 GMT Location: https://openstandard.mozilla.org/ Transfer-Encoding: chunked Connection: Keep-Alive X-Cache-Info: caching mark this bug as r/fixed for now. if we get openstandard.org, feel free to reopen.

Re-testing all looks good except the .tv domain. Testing from home: bennyhassan:~ bsternthal$ curl -I openstandard.tv curl: (6) Could not resolve host: openstandard.tv

all domains are working fine from my house. can you run the following for me? $ dig +short openstandard.tv 63.245.217.20
Flags: needinfo?(booboobenny+bugzilla)
Nothing shows up when i run dig with the short option: bennyhassan:~ bsternthal$ dig +short openstandard.tv bennyhassan:~ bsternthal$ dig openstandard.tv ; <<>> DiG 9.8.3-P1 <<>> openstandard.tv ;; global options: +cmd ;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached
Flags: needinfo?(booboobenny+bugzilla)
Note I get a response if I connect to the mozilla vpn, if I disconnect ... no response
looks like i hadn't correctly submitted this zone to Akamai (our external DNS hosting). i blame friday! should be working now (tested from a couple external locations *without* a vpn connection).
