Steps to reproduce:

- Make sure you navigate to a profile which allows downloading of original pics, Here is mine as an example https://plus.google.com/+AchwaqKhalid/posts

- Click on any pic to bring the photo album

- Click on More>Download Photo


Actual results:

The tab crashes and here is the associated signature: a88303e0-ba22-4f93-895e-417af8bd88db

NB: I have dom.ipc.processcount set to 10
Same results, no crash

For me it's instantaneous and here is even a crash report:

Did you try in safe mode/clean profile ?

Different scenario now: The download dialogue will pop-up and when i choose the "download location" i find NOTHING in the download progress bar even if the file is actually downloading!
