The Speed Dial addon is maintained by the developers of the Flash Video Downloader addon, which also has e10s problems. See bug 946594.

It's this Speed Dial, not Speed Dial [FVD]

Keep in mind that I contacted the Speed Dial [FVD] developers in connection to this bug, so we should clarify if the FVD variant has this problem and, if so, file a separate bug.
