Like the current performance tool, a way to create/save a subset of time data

It'd be nice to use the breadcrumb widget instead of a custom tab implementation. It makes more sense to me, since clicking a parent tab will make the child tab disappear.
After today's meeting, we discussed the pros and cons of this. The main use for it was argued for long 10minute profiles to scope down the view. Also discussed was making these new recording models in the panel on the left instead of tabs to save on vertical space. Either way, we discussed on not necessarily having this before shipping, and looking at metrics (bug 1122058) before seeing if there are a lot of users with 10m+ profiles.

We want to do this regardless of what telemetry tells us. It's an obviously useful thing to have, the only question is how important is this to have for bug 1123815.

We decided that we don't care about this so much for shipping.

Not doing this for v2.

Instead of tabs, something we discussed was with a selection highlighted, a way to create a new recording from that subselection, which gets populated in the recording list.
Triaging. Filter on ADRENOCORTICOTROPIC (yes).

perf.html already has this feature with zooming in on sub-selections of time.
