From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.5) Gecko/20011012 BuildID: 2001101202 I always use the middle mouse button to open a link in a new window. BUt with the advent of Tabs, I think a preference choosing the behavior is in order. Allow the user to choose if the middle mouse button opens in a New Window, or in a New Tab. Great work guys! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Put the mouse over a link. 2. Click the middle mouse button. 3. It opens the link in a New Window.
It's already this way in latest nightlys. Get the proper one to your OS here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/ dup of 103349 Expose pref in UI for middle or ctrl+click opening link in new tab *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 103349 ***
