Steps to reproduce:
Thunderbird app button should be as implemented in Firefox. I guess this was the original intention regarding the Australis design guidelines. I am not sure why it has been left with older version of the app menu.
Actual results:
- Older style of app menu has appeared.
Expected results:
- Final version of the app menu should have appeared.

Thunderbird is now a community project. Which means unpaid volunteers and contributors.
