Getting bad feedback while in the MTV2-128 Uranus conference room. I can hear the whistling/static noise when I'm in the room, and remote participants as well as other conference rooms can hear this noise. Not sure if the HVAC could be causing this noise, but I never noticed this noise previously. Rebooting the Duet speaker didn't resolve the issue. AVDG, can we have someone come out and take a look?

Hi Patrick,

Joe Ghiggioli from our service team will be on site tomorrow morning to hand this issue. Can you please make sure the room is blocked from 9:30-11:30? Also, please CC Joe in all future bugzilla tickets concerning service related issues for AVDG. He has just made his bugzilla account and is CC'd on this thread now.

Thanks!
Jared

Hello Jared,

The room has been blocked off for tomorrow. I will CC Joe for future tickets and have updated our documentation to CC Joe for future tickets as well. Thanks!
Filing on behalf of Katt Taylor:

My desk phone extension, using 1(650)903-0800, isn't reliable. I'm being told by vendors that they're given the message "I'm sorry that's not a valid extension." I am able to make calls from it, when I do it uses the local number 1 (971)544-8000. A colleague called 1 (971) 544-8000 x222 from SFO using her cell phone and got through. However, the vendor called the same number and was unable to.
Assuming this ^^^^ is part of a different bug?

Sorry, Aaron. You're right. Meant to paste this into a different bug.
Found that there is no issues with this room and that the end user had there cell phone withing proximity of the speaker/mic giving the end user a whistling/static noise. Made a test call with Robb and Robb set his phone next to and on top of the speaker/mic and the whistling/static noise was present. Let the end users know not to have there cell phones within or near close proximity of the speaker/mic.
Glad to hear we found the reason the the whistling in Uranus.
