Achwaq, do you have any add-ons installed?

Scrolling https://www.flickr.com/explore/ is visibly slower for me in an e10s window than a non-e10s window, but not a whole lot slower.

I have the same issue with today's nightly.

I just tried with a new profile; it feels slower, but not much; certainly that's not a problem.

If I enable Adblock Plus 2.6.4, things slow down to a crawl. I also get the "slow script" warnings. Flickr in with this addon and e10s becomes unusable.

Hi Achwaq,

It looks like the performance is generally worse on flickr in e10s but we don't see it as much worse than the non-e10s case... at least, that seems to be true when not running Ad-Block Plus.  Would you mind trying it with ABP disabled to see what kind of difference you see between e10s and non-e10s?  (That should at least noticably speed up the site.)  Thanks for helping out with this.

Also, let me know if you have altered any config settings, just in case they affect behavior (you can just copy-paste the Troubleshooting Information if that's easier).  ...but its probably mostly the plugin.

As I said before, the performance problems comes mainly from ABP. A fresh profile without ABP does not show much of a slowdown, a fresh profile with ABP (and only that) shows the performance problem.

So it's pretty much caused by e10s + ABP (without e10s everything is as it always was).

No other config options changed.

Indeed it ooks like Ad-Block Plus was the real culprit in this situation although AB plus doesn't have such an impact when e10s is disabled
