On current Daily builds, attempting to open some tabs (Chat and Addons notably), causes the Thunderbird UI to fail. Specifically, all treeviews cease to display contents and the tab will not display. Failure message:
[Exception... "Failure arg 0 [nsITreeView.setTree]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://messenger/content/folderDisplay.js :: FolderDisplayWidget_hookUpFakeTreeBox :: line 1750" data: no]
I'm not sure yet if this is cross-platform or not.

This is almost certainly a regression, but I need to find a regression range.

I don't understand this bug, i.e. isn't there some additional trigger that accounts for some users seeing this but some (presumably most) users not seeing it?
