Currently, the battery icon has about 5 states which makes the battery icon not very representative of the state of the battery.

I'd like to see finer granularity in the battery icon, so to that end I've measured the empty space in the icon (156px), and have found clean divisions of 156px that we can use to create new battery state icons.

I personally feel that 78 states of 2px a piece would be ideal, though anything greater than our current 5 states is a vast improvement. 39 states of 4px is a reasonable approximation of the state of the battery and provides a fairly granular view.

The icon is actually really small... I believe we are working with 20px on most of our shipping devices. Its going to be VERY difficult for anyone to see the difference between 75% full or 80% full. It would be wiser to give the user an option to display the battery as a percentage.

This is the icon for the charge mode.

Turn off your phone, plug it into a charger. It'll boot into charge mode.

This icon is modified from the icons shipped on the Flame found in /res/images/charger.

This is NOT the status bar icon.
