The `caches` object isn't implemented yet in Chrome nor Firefox: https://jakearchibald.github.io/isserviceworkerready/

But there's a polyfill here: https://github.com/coonsta/cache-polyfill

We could start using the `caches` polyfill and remove it when `caches` has landed (i.e., when SW ships to stable release channel).
