108544 - procedure entry point not located in xpcom.dll

Upon mozilla launch an error message is presented...

The procedure entry point ?ToNewUnicode@nsString@@QBEPAGXZ could not be located
in the dynamic link library xpcom.dll.


STEPS:
Installed 0.9.5 (2001101117) for win32
Launch of application presented error above. Acknowledged to continue.
Visit java.sun.com
Clicked in java applet area (upper right of page) to download Java JRE plugin
Plugin installed
Quit browser
Relaunch browser (no error this time)
Visit java.sun.com - applet area still prompting me to download plugin. 
Clicked area, but did not reinstall plugin.
Applet area now reads "Click here after installing plugin."
Clicked in applet area and received error message above.

The steps of clicking in the applet area to install the plugin and then clicking
in it again once it reads "click here after installing" will always produce the
error message. 

Relaunching the browser will produce the error message about every other time.

did you install into a clean directory?  Or on top of another mozilla
installation?

This install was on top of a 0.9.4 installation.

BTW: You should not install a build over an old build. (see the release notes)
