Calender requests from Outlook are showing up as blank messages. This is caused by bug #574989 but that bug seems to being ignored as an esoteric protocol level bug, rather than the serious data-loss bug that it is now. The symptom is that you get a blank message from someone. There is no indication that it contains a calender invite, so you delete the message. As calender invitation usage becomes far more common - since its working well on every platform EXCEPT Thunderbird, this bug is occurring more often, I've seen it twice this week from different people. If I wasn't already aware of the problem I'd have just deleted the message, with the accompanied data-loss.
Do you have lightning installed?
No I don't have lightning, (I use iCal), but this is pre- opening the attachment, the attachment doesnt even show up.
