=============================================================

Very recent crashing bug. I was able to get youtube video to be played with html5 two days ago or so.

it is very simple to reproduce it. Just go to youtube (without flash plugin), and try to play any single video.

A question : could it be related to Mesa 10.3.2 upgrade on archlinux ?
Bug related to bug #1063356 ?

Not really, because my homemade builds were not crashing before bug #1063356 was fixed. A bug like #1074860, but not the same one. Only backtrace can tell.
Workaround seems to be disabling media.mediasource.enabled. Was this turned on recently?
Yes, Mediasource Extensions were enabled in Nightly on Thursday. Bug 1000686.

Fairly sure this is Bug 1074860. In https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1063356#c30 that push required a clobber which means your homemade builds may not have started breaking until https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozilla-inbound/rev/1c3957daffe6 landed?

I don't think because crash only happens when https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1000686 was checked in, not before. So until 25 october, my homemade builds were working perfectly right with youtube. Or was I dreaming ? :D

Bug 1000686 probably made you get more VP9 content than you were getting before so could account for the bug appearing more often when it landed.

Yeah, Youtube has not been offering VP9 to non-MSE users; my nightly has had this flag preffed on for a while for testing
