Steps to reproduce: 1. Open mp-homepage: https://marketplace.allizom.org/ 2. Click on the Sign In button. 3. Click on the Forgot password link. 4. Introduce the email address for an existing FxA account and click the Next Button. 5. In the received email click on the reset link. Expected results: The password reset form is opened in the browser. Actual results: An error message is displayed stating that the reset link is expired, the user can't reset the password. ------ If the user tries to reset the password again: 1. Open mp-homepage: https://marketplace.allizom.org/ 2. Click on the Sign In button. 3. Click on the Forgot password link. Expected: The mail is sent. Actual: Unexpected error message is displayed. http://screencast.com/t/t1Kd55Kcc2t Notes/Issues: Verified in FF36(Win7) Issue can be reproduced in Mp-stage.
I think this is an issue with FxA. I opened a Private Browsing window and tried to reset my password and got the email, clicked the link and it said it was expired [1]. I closed my Private Browsing window and opened a new one, tried again and got the "Unexpected error" message [2] after a wait of a few seconds. I tried closing/reopening and resetting again and each time I got "Unexpected error" until I hit "Attempt limit exceeded". I tried using a different email address and again first attempt yielded an email, other attempts yield the "Unexpected error" message.
