Details

when using auto complete, the URL bar used to show the option to connect to the search engine specified in preferences. Now with build 2001110803, this option does not show. You get autocompleted URLs but no option to send the text you typed into the URL bar to your specified search engine. Workaround is to click the "search" button, but the option under preferences -> navigator ->smart browsing ->advanced -> show internet search engine is no longer functioning. reproduce: 1. type into URL bar 2. autocomplete menu drops down 3. No option so search in specified search engint expected. 1. type into URL bar 2. Autocomplete menu drops down 3. Option to search for typed text at search engine should be listed
I see this Win98Se, moz trunk build 20011108, but it's a dupe of bug 108543
