Steps to reproduce:

Last Friday I upgraded my Alcatel OneTouch Fire from v1.1 to v1.3.
I write a SMS to a valid number and hit "Send".


Actual results:

1.) The textfield is emptied.
2.) There is no "sending"-spinner.
3.) No SMS got sent.
4.) No new SMS is appended to the log.


Expected results:

I expected a spinner showing SMS on transmission and the text showing up in the logs afterwards.
May be a duplicate to bug #982150.
Basically the same comment than in bug 1092840 :)
