In bug 1073240 Firefox got a new icon for the default theme. It looks good on about:customizing with a HiDPI display, but not the in the add-on manager. The old icon was also not HiDPI ready, so it's *not* a regression but it would be nice to get this fixed, maybe while implementing the new in-content style for about:addons in bug 989469.
I'm dubious adding a normal @2x icon can solve this as this IMHO needs then a rewrite of the add-on manager code to display @2x icons. Normal add-ons can provide a icon64.png for the details page. Maybe the manager could use this icon to show in HiDPI. But this would also need a icon64.png icon for the default theme (which also should be added for the details page).
