Maybe we could add the possibility to handle custom keywords like your username used in IRC: When my nickname is mentioned in IRC, I get a notification and the text gets bold; maybe it would be good, if this would also be possible for custom keywords (e.g. your real name).
I was trying to find the Instantbird version of this bug, but I couldn't it. There's an add-on for Instantbird called Highlight [1] which does this, not sure if it is up to date. We should probably add support to core for this, however. [1] https://addons.instantbird.org/en-US/instantbird/addon/250
