FWIW, these do show up on Treeherder as regular M1/M2 jobs, so we haven't been missing test coverage in the mean time at least.

Is there something that needs to be done to treeherder so you can see the new ui with gl1 and gl2?  I still see them as m1 and m2 on treeherder for recent jobs.

This hasn't been deployed to production, we close bugs as soon as the change lands. Also this won't change already ingested jobs, only new ones from when it gets deployed.
