Per the discussion in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1095081#c7 I'm going to modify the Gallery app to use the type 'application/*' when sharing a mixed set of images and videos.
In bug 1097117, the email app is going to be modified to support this mime type so it can attach videos and images at the same time.
I think that the messages app should do the same thing.
