Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:35.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/35.0
Build ID: 20141103174315
Steps to reproduce:
I just got an e-mail from marketplace-firefox-accounts-transition@mozilla.com, asking me to activate my Firefox Account (ex Marketplace).
I click on the « Activate now » button, then I filled the password field, anf my birth year. Everythink's OK.
I Use Ubuntu 14.04, with Firefox Aurora 35.0a2 (2014-11-03)
Actual results:
I try to login at the url :
https://accounts.firefox.com/oauth/signin?state=[longchain]&client_id=[longId)&preVerifyToken=[veryverylongToken]&scope=profile&email=[me@domain.tld]
Few seconds with the spin in the blue button, then... the tab closes itself. I try to login agian and again (10, 12 times ?), it happens every time.
Expected results:
Login me, instead close the tab !

I imagine it doesn't work on other browsers, either? Moving this to marketplace...

What happens if you go to https://accounts.firefox.com/settings does that show you as logged in?

I think this is a dupe of bug 1095504. To confirm:
1. After reproducing the bug you see yourself as not logged in at https://accounts.firefox.com/settings.
2. Open the « Activate now » link in a new tab (ctrl click and right click > Open Link in New Tab should both work).
3. Go through the flow.
4. You land on Marketplace and are logged in.
5. You are now logged in at https://accounts.firefox.com/settings.
What email client are you using, out of curiosity? We noticed this in Zimbra but unfortunately did not get the fix merged in time.
No problem with Chromium 38.0.2125.111, I got the

No problem with Chromium 38.0.2125.111, I got the page to manage the account.
Yes I use Zimbra to get my emails. Problem is from here ? I confirm these steps.

Sounds like this is indeed a dupe. Marking it as such.
