User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_5) AppleWebKit/600.1.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/7.1 Safari/537.85.10 Steps to reproduce: I tried to restore bookmark from backup in json format Actual results: Firefox told that its impossible to open any of all 10+ files. All files marked as broken. Expected results: Bookmarks should be restored as i suppose ? :)
this issue happened after upgrade to 33.1 version today.

I renamed the file you attached to latest.jsonlz4 and successfully imported it into Firefox 33. I didn't see any issue with that.
renamed file, but still "Unable to process the backup file." Maybe its FF on MacOS issue?
Marco! Can you send me export in html format? :) i tried to reset FF, safe-mode, downgrades etc etc. No luck.
I will test on Mac ASAP Did you try in Safe mode already? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode Or after creating a new profile.

yep, safe-mode was the first one I tried. After that full reset. No result.
Maybe the problem that I have encrypted passwords?.. They're disappeared also and I'm unable to set up master password.

Sorry for the delay, I also tested your file on Mac, and still I could restore bookmarks without any problem.

Hi Helios, Did you managed to restore the bookmarks from backup after upgrading to a newer Firefox version ? Or is this still reproducing on your end ? Thanks, Paul
