We should decide if we want to do this, and if we do, what tabs we would actually put in the apps list. I haven't looked into what Chrome does, but articles on the internet say that they only show certain kinds of tabs. Perhaps we can start by showing tabs that you opened from a bookmark shortcut since that's kinda app-like?

NI to antlam to think about the UX here.

Yeah I was thinking about this but I don't see them actually opening up more than 1 "Chrome" tab in my recent apps list yet...

Not sure how difficult this might be but, could we test this out with some builds?

 - Opens every tab as a separate tab in the Apps list
 - Opens only bookmarked tabs in a separate tab in the Apps list
 - Opens a separate tab for each "device" that's synced to the users' Firefox Account (I.e. Nightly on my Nexus 5 in a tab, Firefox on my Mac in another tab)

Do we also have any ability to put stuff on the labels of these tabs? I notice there's only an App icon and the App name (which is fine), I'm just thinking out loud here. :)

Hmm side note: Could we show results from Search Activity as a separate "tab" in recents?

For example, I search in the Firefox Search for a restaurant I like, I arrive at the Yelp.com profile of my fav restaurant (inside Firefox), there's the little Android guy in the URL bar.

Could we conceivably display those results in a separate tab?

(shamelessly thinks aloud again)

I assume we can control the labels of the tabs. The example in this documentation makes it look like we can control the label:
https://developer.android.com/guide/components/recents.html

However, reading more about this feature, it sounds like these items in the recent apps list all correspond to activities, so it would probably be non-trivial to implement this for tabs...

Observation: for results that are more "card"-like (the ones that sit on the top of the results page), I noticed they actually get pulled out into a separate tab.
