Details
Using nov15 commercial trunk build
When you've selected a message in the 3-pane search results while the message
pane is closed, when you return to folder view via deleting/clearing the search
text string the selection will not be preserved even though the message is
included in the folder view. (Note: This was not a child message of a collapsed
thread as in bug 106709.)
1. Open a folder or newsgroup with the search bar shown, message pane can be
either closed or open.
2. Type some text in the search bar's text field which will yield matches.
3. Close the message pane (you're still in search result mode).
4. Select a message (other than the message which might've been selected in the
folder view when initiating the search).
5. Leave the message pane closed and clear the text (backspace or delete text)
in the search bar.
Actual result: returned to folder view with either no selection or restores
the selection which was in folder view prior to search.
Expected Result: should take you back to folder view with the QS selection
preserved.

It may not scroll to the message in folder view but opening msg pane shows the
msg after 119965 is fixed.
Depends on: 119965
