a pop up alert appears with a message about the message being signed and it is 
valid.

Is this pop up an intentional change? If so please mark this invalid.

Sounds like some testing code gone wrong.  Intended or not, this is a serious
usability defect. How can anyone read their mail with alerts popping up for no
good reason?
