Reproducible on: Firefox 34.0 (build 2/ 20141125180439). Affected platform(s): Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8 32-bit, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 32-bit and Mac OS X 10.9.5. STR: 1. Open Firefox using a clean profile 2. Enter any text in the search bar 3. While the Smart Suggestions pop-up is displayed, Click on the Menu Panel and enter Customize Mode. Expected Results: The Smart suggestions and the search suggestions are disabled and the Customize Mode is properly opened. Actual Results: The search Suggestions remains displayed when the user enters Customize Mode. Notes: The search suggestion remains displayed even after exiting Customize Mode. It will also be displayed in front of any other app. If the user enters another characters in the search field, the suggestion area will become blank. Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/GrkDS1K.png
The 'Smart Suggestions' panel has been removed in bug 1123620.
