For an example, try content -> fonts -> advanced, and any of the dropdowns in there. Compare with e.g. the startup page one under 'general', and the desired vs. actual styling is pretty apparent.

See also bug 1105254. I wonder if this is another case of bug 1097543 - our selectors being overridden because of selectors applying separately to the subdialog bits...
Happens on OSX as well as Windows.
