I've implemented all of the style system bits in bug 1176782.
Pending resolution on the computed/used value fixups for 'auto'.
Let me know if there's any news on that, btw.

I've also implemented the layout of that for Grid:

The CSSWG resolved to publish another CSS Align CR: https://www.w3.org/2017/02/08-css-irc#T17-50-31

We should expect the current editor's draft http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css-align/ to become the new CR.

If there are any outstanding issues we have with features in the editor's draft (like anything we don't want to implement, or details we disagree with per implementation experience) we should file an explicit issue accordingly:
