Attachment: Dropdown shown when search icon is clicked

Steps to reproduce:

0. Assuming that nothing has been written in the search box,
1. Click the search icon

Actual result:

Dropdown with "Change Search Settings" (and possibly "Add <search engine>") is shown.

Expected result:

Dropdown showing also search suggestions/history and one-off search icons.

This is the designed behavior.

Okay.

I guess my main reason for wanting the search engines was to be able to quickly change the default search engine (like [e-mail] in bug 1102922 comment 3).
