Bugzilla should be able to dump out results as XML

Bugzilla query results and so forth are generated HTML documents. It would be nice if it could also output results in an structured XML format that clients (e.g. Mozilla) could process with a nice client-side front-end. For example, Mozilla could parse query results into a nice collapsable multi-column view that that the user could size/hide/show/sort columns from. Clicking on an item might display it in a preview pane and so on.

Bugs can already be dumped using xml.cgi, although I don't think there's an equivalent for bug lists.

Currently, there is no equivilent for buglists, but I think it's part of what's being done on bug 103778.

That's right. Bug 103778 implements RDF (an XML language) output for bug lists and makes it trivial to write a template that outputs bug lists in other XML languages.
