Steps to reproduce:
1. install Firefox 34.
2. click on the search bar
3. notice the first-run/tour like panel thingy
4. do a search
5. click the search bar again, notice the first-run/tour panel is displayed again
6. now try to get rid of the panel without click next.
Expected result:
I should not have to play whac-a-mole with the search bar.
I should not have to click a bunch of next buttons placed in different locations (because clicking 'next' moves the panel).
I should not have to think in order to get rid of this/these panel.
Actual results
I must spend a minute playing whac-a-mole in order to get rid of the first-run/tour panel... which is not a user friendly thing to do.
I must jump through numerous hoops in order to get rid of these panels..

We rush-implemented this in bug 1101654, and I agree that we should have addressed this annoyance. But this thing only appears once, and we don't plan to use it again, so it's probably effectively too late.
