This version of browserid-verifier includes an update to the latest version of browserid-crypto, which drops support for "new-style" certificate formats. As of Bug 1108679 these formats are not used anywhere in production, and removing them will help us avoid snafus like Bug 1096106 in the future. Please deploy v0.3.0 to stage for both tokenserver-local and standalone verifier stacks. This should not impact ability to handle load, but we'll need to carefully check that attached services (notably sync and msisdn) function correctly with the new verifier.
I'm OK with this going out concurrently with the tokenserver deploy in Bug 1091313, they're two unrelated changes and I'm very sure they will not interfere with each other.
