See bug 1108041. "custom dimension 9 only gets the source of the app view, not the install and is only passed on the app view pageview. its a hit level dimension and so any downstream activity (ie. app install) won't really work. we would need to pass another custom dimension along with the 'successful app install' event to capture this data specifically" Let's set this up so we can track which sources led to an install. We could also use this data to breakdown the install stats into sources.
