Details
Does not work under e10s - Firefox 37.0a1 (2014-12-22) - Fedora Linux 21.
Tried both through the menu and the shortcut ctrl+shift+m - no luck
In the non e10s mode though, i found it only work through the menu
Menu->Developer->Tilt
The background(behind the 3d view) was also a distorted view of the webpage instead of a grey/black background
Ctrl+shift+M gave me a weird window as if it was meant for mobile use(including e10s)

bull500: thanks for testing e10s!
vporof and robcee: are you the developers of the "Tilt 3D" add-on? The add-on seems to be broken with multiprocess Firefox (e10s). If you have any questions about e10s support, just drop by the #e10s IRC channel on irc.mozilla.org or ask Ally on this bug. MDN also has a good introduction:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tilt/

E10s and remoting support for the built-in 3D view may be added sometime in Q2 2015. The add-on will probably become deprecated and never get it.

So is this deprecated as it would appear? If so I'll mark this as resolved.

The addon is deprecated. The built-in tool is not, although we lack the time to make it e10s ready at this very moment.

With Firefox 57 only WebExtensions are permitted and are, by default, e10s compatible.
