Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:0.9.6+) Gecko/20011123
BuildID: 2001112303

Whenever I select a news item from my ISP's homepage, or do a search and select
a link from the search page, then return to the previous page, whether or not
the link has completed loading, I am always returned to the top of the page.
This is distinct from bug 92820, which I am unable to reproduce, and bug 93413
which I have not tried to reproduce, and which certainly does not occur when two
or more separate windows are used (I am currently switching between 3 windows,
and returning to the same spot in each every time.)
This is one of those "little" bugs which will really "bug" users when Mozilla is
used commercially.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.select (click on) a news item,
or type a subject in the search box and select (click on) a link
2.(click on) go back a page
3.

Actual Results: returned to top of page

Expected Results: to be return to the position the page was originally at.

This has been the same in every build of Mozilla I have used.
mentioned this bug in bug 105395, likely dup.
WFM on a current linux CVS. Resolving as dup of bug 112564, fixed on Jan. 8th.
