I see 2 things not included in this list, wondering if they were intentionally not included, or were accidentally missed:
- improving the searchbar panel for users with suggestions disabled (or a default engine not providing suggestions) - bug 1109636
- improving search from the context menu, possibly by adding one-off buttons there - bug 1107194
