1 In about:config set general.useragent.locale to es-US
2 Restart Firefox with a new profile
3 Open Hello panel - Movistar brand is seen

Per user story on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1074720 the logo used should be Telefonica.

Nominating this for Fx36 since the patch will be low risk and logos are very visible.

After putting together a patch for this, I have now learned that there is no such es-US locale provided.

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ and https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/language-tools/ also don't mention an es-US locale, and there is no es-US locale specified within Preferences > Content > Language.

RT, did you get a report from somebody who ran in to this? Besides changing the preference in about:config, do you know how they could have gotten this locale installed?

Testing was done using a plug-in allowing to select locales:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/quick-locale-switcher/

It seems the locales used on the plug-in are not valid ones which is where the confusion came from.

Thanks for looking into this, agreed this can be resolved.
