Browser Version: 2001112603 under Windows 2K Strange behaviour is exhibited by the cursor When entering text into a hebrew form field: 1)At start of the field, the cursor is invisible, only after you star to type can you see the caret. 2)When you press enter at the end of a line of text, the cursor continues to flash at the end of the previous line. Only after you start typing text does it display itself on the next line. How To Reproduce: 1) Go To: http://forums.ort.org.il/scripts/addform.asp?which_forum=307 2) Try typing hebrew text in the large text box - the 5th one from the top. 3) Notice that when you click in the text box, the caret is at first invisible 4) Type a line of text then press enter - notice the caret didn't descent a line.
Yes there is a strange thing there. The caret doesn't decend a line but if you delete the text and start all over its ok. On each new line the caret seems to be hiding behinde the text box border. I guess this should be minor severity. I have Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.6+) Gecko/20011126
-> BiDi, but maybe Form Controls; cc'ing rods.

Does this happen in composer?
No, Composer does not exhibit this behaviour. I have only experienced it in text fields inside Forms. Jeremy
sounds similar to bug 119860. Are they related?

I am getting this with moz 1.0 on win 98
symptom number 1 looks like a dup of bug 139969
