User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/34.0
Build ID: 20141126041045
Actual results:
I heard that Firefox v35 was available. I opened Help > About Firefox. It showed the
update was available, press button. Press the button, a few seconds later another
button says Restart. I press that button, nothing happens. I close Firefox and restarted.
No up grade. I tried several times. I am now downloading from
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

Two ways found to fix this:
This does not work:
From the Help > About Firefox there is no update
but
This Works
From the Firefox horizontal menu and clicking "?"> About Firefox an update starts

I expect this is because of throttling of the update - we don't roll the update out immediately to everyone.

This is a problem, but it sounds like by now you've updated and so it's probably not possible to figure out why the restart didn't work. :-(
