The bookmark keyword feature is very powerful and represented in the HTML version of bookmarks:
Google Query, as SHORTCUTURL. However, if you Right-Click "File Bookmark As" the keyword is not imported -- and it should be. Would require a duplicate check -- a keyword is rendered ineffective if multiple bookmarks have it.

A keyword should also be ignored if it is a valid URL or can be corrected to a valid URL. I wouldn't want a site to sneak the keyword "google.com" into its entry in my bookmarks.

Good point Jesse (Comment 2), even a confirmation box would be ok when keywords are imported -- it's a lot less work than editing the bookmark to type in the keyword manually anyway, and it should be more than okay security-wise too.

Checked, keywords are exported/imported properly now, so closing this User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:16.0) Gecko/20120912 Firefox/16.0 SeaMonkey/2.13 Build identifier: 20120912204827
