On the desktop, my music listening/organizing tool of choice is the wonderful Tuniac.

It has the ability to very easily generate playlists from filter queries, which I adore.

Simply put, if I want a new playlist of all the stuff from Liquicity records, I simply type Liquicity, then press the > button and boom, Liquicity playlist.

This same filter to create mentality was used on the unfortunately unpopular but excellent Haier Ibiza Rhapsody. It was beyond stupid easy to generate "quick" playlists by simply typing a query and saving that out to a new playlist on the device.

I can't stress enough how nice this kind of "simple" playlist building is to a heavy music listener.
This is something we want to do once we have playlists.
