Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0
Build ID: 20140923175406
Steps to reproduce:
I have limited the size of the downloaded emails in the account settings ("don't download messages larger than").
If I get an email with exceeds this size and I complete it ("click to download the rest of the message") in the Inbox folder, it works properly.
If I get an email with exceeds this size and move it (mostly automated by filter rule) to a different mail folder and try to complete it there, this mail is always destroyed (it leads to a completely empty mail content).
I have not yet found a possibility to recover such a email: likely its content is lost.
Because the mail is deleted at the server right after the completion, I also have no possibility to download it again.
Win7 / Thunderbird 31.4.0
Appears also with older Thunderbirds.
Actual results:
empty email
Expected results:
Mail with content.

I think so. Same issue as "Fetch header only" case. Difference is "TOP 0" when "Fetch header only" and "TOP nn" when "Download size limitation".
In both cases, status of "Partial" is written in popstate.dat, and there is no difference after fetched partially.
Sorry but I don't remember bug number.
Possibly bug 288465.
