You have a Wifi registered, and you can wish to modify individual parameters of this network without having to forget it and then manually add everything a new time. For example, password can change. Encryption can change. Eventually more advanced parameters like manual IP, gateway, DNS and so on… You should be able to change things when you go on a particular network screen instead of just giving 4 informations.
